I recently had the pleasure of staying at City Break Nomentana during our Easter getaway in Rome with my wife and daughter, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The guesthouse is nestled in the lively yet tranquil Monte Sacro neighborhood, making it easy for us to enjoy the local vibe while still feeling like we had an oasis to retreat to after exploring the city. Our room, with its view of the lush garden, was a refreshing touch that reminded me of my love for nature. It was wonderfully clean, and the soundproofing allowed us to unwind without disturbances from neighboring rooms. I truly appreciated the friendly staff, especially Alfonso, who went above and beyond by providing a chilled bottle of water and great tips for our day trips. Although it's not directly in the bustling center of Rome, we found it super convenient to hop on the bus just minutes from the door, which made our outings easy and enjoyable. Plus, the free breakfast offered downstairs was a fantastic way to fuel up for our daily adventures. City Break Nomentana is a hidden gem I'd recommend to fellow eco-conscious travelers looking for a serene place to stay while soaking up the beauty of Rome.
